Our new booking agent, Seth Rappaport, at Paladin Artists really has us moving this summer. We are LOVIN’ it and we really love that he got the memo: Please! Get us out of the sultry South for them old Dog Days

Maine is not only on nearly everyone’s “must visit list” but Maine is also about as far north as it gets in the good old USA. Thanks Seth! We’re thrilled to be invited to Waterville, Maine by Waterville Opera House and Waterville Creates for Waterville Rocks!, August 1. Check out the amazing acts coming to Waterville Opera House including Oteil and Friends on October 1! From Maine, we head to Derry, New Hampshire and visit the Hayward’s again at Tupelo Music Hall where “it’s all about the music”. What a great venue! We round out an up-east swing at Daryl’s Place in Pawling, NY. This will be our first visit to Daryl’s and we hope to see a bunch of y’all there, that way we might get invited back!

The next leg of Dog Days Tour 2025 takes us perilously near the boiling cauldron but that’s okay we get to go to Rocky Mount, VA and play the amazing Harvester Performance Center again! We hope it’s a lil’ cooler up in those hills of Virginia when we visit The Millwald in Wytheville. Built in 1928, The Millwald has been an important part of this wonderful area for nearly a century. If we’re real lucky we will be nibbling on some of Missy’s Famous Peanut Butter Balls on our way to Charlotte, NC to play Neighborhood Theatre in the historic NoDa arts district of the Queen City. Originally opening as Astor Theatre in 1945, we’ve heard nothing but good about Neighborhood.

Colorado isn’t all mountains and snow but we do hope to find a little nip in the evening air this August. Starting in Fort Collins, it is certainly exciting for us to be a part of the strong lineup Bohemian Live Music brings to Washington’s. We trek next to Steamboat Springs for The String Music Festival. Rounding out our most significant Colorado run in decades, ARS visits Riverbend Park in Palisade for The Peach Fest. Wait!? What?! Peaches grow somewhere beside Georgia??!! That can’t be right. We’ll find out for sure. Maybe not REAL peaches.

We wrap up no-rest-August with a Classic Rock Reunion featuring Firefall, Orleans and Pure Prairie League in Moorhead, Minnesota. Bluestem Amphitheatre is a fantastic venue nestled on the Red River across from Fargo, ND. Managed by Trollwood Performing Arts School, Bluestem represents this area’s amazing support of the arts. Big thanks to Jade Presents for all they do and for inviting us up to play.

While many of y’all are sliding into fall during September, down here in Georgia them old Dog Days are usually still firmly in place. Of course, Kansas City isn’t known for moderate weather swings in either direction but when we visit Uptown Theatre September 5, it’ll definitely be a hot night for the Classic Rock Reunion with our friends in Orleans, Firefall and Pure Prairie League. We caravan with all those great bands to Camdenton, MO and Ozarks Amphitheatre for more fun and another great night of music. The hit songs literally keep coming and coming all night long. It’s CRAZY! We wrap up the Missouri leg of our Dog Days 2025 tour just on the other side of the Mississippi River in Alton IL at Mac’s. If you’ve been to Mac’s, you know. Right!? If you don’t know, maybe you just ain’t ready.

We should at least get a break from the humidity in Phoenix when we play The Music Instrument Museum September 10 and 11. Our first show sold out quickly and we are very fortunate to have added another show at this amazing facility. By itself, the museum is worthy of a visit to Phoenix but as everyone knows there’s a lot more to do and see around there. Utah can feel like a whole other planet to a bunch of good ole’ boys but we really enjoy getting out there and checking it out. The band is thrilled we get to play Layton, Utah’s “front porch” with our pals in Pure Prairie League. Since 1995, The Kenley Amphitheatre and the Davis Arts Counsel have provided an amazing venue and amazing shows to the Layton area, between Ogden and Salt Lake City.

A final swing up East wraps up Dog Days Tour 2025 for ARS with visits to some fantastic familiar venues. The Katherine Hepburn Cultural Arts Center in Old Saybrook, Connecticut is certainly one of the most well-known and well-regarded venues up that way. If you can’t make it to our show check out the amazing line-up at The Kate and at least go see Al Stewart, August 30, performing with the impeccable Empty Pockets on his farewell tour. Say it ain’t so Al ! We’re honored to be invited back to The Center for the Arts in Natick Massachusetts and Infinity Music Hall in Hartford. It’s been a while since we visited the crazy cool Infinity location in Norfolk, CT, however they really managed to bring that original cool vibe out of the woods and into the big city. The firehouse in Natick is without a doubt one of the most unique and special places we get to visit. September 20, we perform in Fall River, Massachusetts at The Narrows Center for the Arts, a testament to this area’s cultural commitment, presenting music that matters and art that inspires. The past couple years, while still rockin’, Rocktober coulda def rocked more for us. This year however, Rocktober is really gonna ROCK! ARS will be playing in Aiken, SC at Etherredge Center, in Nashville at 3rd and Lindsley and even close to home in Duluth, GA, Rocktober 18 at Gas South Theatre. ARS heads up to Ohio, Rocktober 24-26 to play at a couple legendary venues, Kent Stages and The Ludlow Garage then wrap up Rocktober at the fabulous Ritz in Tiffin, Ohio. Maybe, we’ll even pick-up a Spooky Halloween gig along the way. Hey, Seth!
